Clash of the titans
Anticipation was high for the three leading Democratic candidates in the polls to share one stage together. Biden, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren didn’t disappoint as they sparred over “Medicare for All.”
Beto O’Rourke gave a passionate defense of his mandatory gun buyback program, saying “hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15.” The former congressman’s native state of Texas has seen multiple mass shootings in the last several months.

Yang has his Oprah moment
You get money! And you get money! In an unusual move for a political candidate, entrepreneur Andrew Yang announced his campaign will provide a Freedom Dividend of $1,000 a month to 10 American families for one year. Yang said the giveaway will be financed by campaign donations from supporters.
